PROBLEM: Is Margalene Rauch, the stepmother of John and his siblings, rather then their birth mother ? If Magdalina was born in 1791 and John was born in 1801 the she would have been (1801-1791=10) 10 years old (not likely).
QUESTION: Another Catharina Christmann with her father named Johann Daniel Mersy, died 28 Nov 1867, LDS-FHL film 0415671. She died at child birth. Different family?
